Brad on Angelina: ‘She has no self-regulating mechanism’

Brad Pitt filed additional court documents Thursday in an ongoing effort to seal his divorce proceedings with Angelina Jolie.

Brad’s team claim in the new legal documents that Angelina “appears to be determined to ignore even agreed upon standards relating to the children’s best interest,” People magazine reports. The actor’s team reportedly claim that the actress has “no self-regulating mechanism” to prevent sensitive information from being released. His lawyer also claims that Angelina “exposed the children by making public the names of their therapists and other mental health professionals.” Angelina’s team now has time to respond before the judge makes a decision.

This is the first time Brad has hit back at Angie in the legal battle. He had previously released a statement saying: “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids,” he said in a statement given to People. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.” The former couple share children Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight, together.

A source close to former Hollywood pair told the Daily Star: “She doesn’t have the heart to refuse to let him see the children over the holidays and they would probably never forgive her if she did. “But Brad is going to have to use every ounce of his acting skill when he arrives with their presents and put on a brave face to mask the torment he’s going through over spending so little time with them.”
