Check out the first look at the new season of 24: Legacy on Channel 10.
JACK Bauer’s ‘really bad days’ are finally over as the 24 series is rebooted without Kiefer Sutherland.
24: Legacy resets the clock with a new maverick hero and Aussie actor Miranda Otto (Homeland) as an intelligence officer on a fast track to the White House.
Meet our new saviour, Sergeant Eric Carter, played by Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, The Walking Dead). The war hero must single-handedly prevent the largest planned terrorist attacks on American soil, and, like Bauer, he won’t play by the rules.
Legacy uses the same real-time format which kept viewers ticking over since the series first hit our screens in 2001.
Today Channel 10 has released a first look at the new series, which will air in 2017. It is scheduled to air in February in the US.
The series co-stars Teddy Sears (American Horror Story), Andy Shalowitz (Gilmore Girls) and multi Emmy Award-winning actor Jimmy Smits (L.A Law, NYPD Blue, The West Wing) playing Otto’s on-screen husband, Senator John Donovan.
